Since 2004, Andy Miller has been involved in sustainable housing development throughout Dane County, and across Wisconsin and Minnesota. Most recently he has been working as a “natural building” contractor and consultant, assisting families in the building of straw bale and earthen homes. He is also a co-founder of Blue Heron Natural Builders Guild, an organization whose mission is to educate the public about affordable, environmentally friendly building options, as well as cultivating local small businesses within the field. Andy’s primary professional goal is to help families and individuals secure housing they can afford, and know the satisfaction and connection to community that comes with home ownership.
Andy and his wife have two daughters, and own a little house on the isthmus in Madison.
